US Treasury, Departmental Offices in Washington, DC is seeking an IT Specialist to design, develop, implement, and maintain the LMCS and related financial software within the Federal Financing Bank.
The role requires specialized experience with enterprise-scale financial applications using Java or similar languages, plus SQL optimization and financial reporting considerations. A structured interview may assess competencies such as attention to detail, customer service, and problem solving.
This position is located at Departmental Offices,Domestic Finance - Financial Markets. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the FFB's Loan Management Control System (LMCS) and other computer application systems in the Federal Financing Bank.
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resumé.
In addition to meeting specialized experience, individuals must meet proficiency levels in each of the following competencies:
