Job description

This position is located in Division of Resolutions and Receiverships (DRR) and is responsible for engage in planning and implementing financial institution technical and operational closing and post-closing resolution strategies, as well as data mining projects or other technical projects to facilitate effective receivership and divisional operations.

CG-13: Applicants must complete one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG/GS-12 level or above in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
  • Experience applying principles and methods to identify, analyze, specify, design, and manage functional data and data infrastructure requirements related to financial institutions and emerging financial technologies; includes translating data requirements into technical requirements used for logical design or presenting alternative technologies or approaches.

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) eligible applicants must earn 80 or higher on the online assessment to be determined "well qualified." For information, see FDIC CTAP/ICTAP.
