Three Tone Enterprise is seeking an IT Specialist to own and support all of the company’s technology needs. As our go-to technology expert, you’ll be responsible for the systems, infrastructure, devices, and tools that keep our business running, from our network and user accounts to the business platforms that connect us with suppliers, partners, and customers. You’ll keep everything secure, reliable, and running smoothly as the company grows. Your work has a direct impact on how efficiently our teams operate, how quickly issues get resolved, and how well our technology supports the business.
This role is ideal for a hands-on, self-directed IT professional who enjoys variety and takes pride in doing things right. You’re just as comfortable helping a colleague reset a password as you are configuring a firewall or troubleshooting a system integration. You pick up new platforms quickly, think ahead about security, and keep your systems well documented.
You’ll thrive here if you like ownership, enjoy being the person people count on, and want to help shape how a growing company uses technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, servers or cloud services, hardware, software, and end-user support.
- Provide day-to-day help desk support in person, by phone, and remotely, resolving user, device, and access issues quickly and keeping downtime to a minimum.
- Set up, configure, and maintain computers, phones, printers, and peripherals for new and existing employees.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including creating and removing accounts, assigning licenses, and setting up email and system access.
- Administer and support core business systems, including ERP, CRM, inventory, and accounting platforms.
- Support e-commerce and marketplace integrations, including Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, EDI connections, and data feeds with suppliers and partners.
- Maintain network equipment, including switches, access points, firewalls, VPNs, and internet connections.
- Own cybersecurity, including access controls, endpoint protection, patching, backups, email security, and user awareness training.
- Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans, and test them regularly.
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, licenses, and subscriptions, and assist with purchasing decisions and tracking IT spend.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools and systems that improve efficiency and support growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, assets, user accounts, and procedures.
- Partner with teams across the company to understand their technology needs and help them work more effectively.
Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooter who diagnoses problems quickly across hardware, software, networks, and integrations.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and how to apply them in a small-to-mid-sized business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including explaining technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage many requests, projects, and priorities at once.
- Self-starter who works independently and follows through without needing to be chased.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, Active Directory or Entra ID, Windows, networking equipment, and common business platforms.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
- Hands-on experience managing networks, servers or cloud infrastructure, endpoints, and user support.
- Experience supporting business systems such as ERP, CRM, or inventory management platforms.
- Experience working with IT vendors, licenses, and service providers.
- Comfortable working across diverse systems and technologies. You learn quickly and don’t need to be a specialist in every tool to be effective.
- Documentation-disciplined, keeping system records, asset inventories, and procedures current.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Katy, TX, and respond to urgent issues outside regular hours when needed.
Preferred:
- Experience as the sole or primary IT resource for a small-to-mid-sized company.
- Background in wholesale, distribution, or e-commerce environments.
- Experience supporting a business where Amazon is a primary customer, including familiarity with Vendor Central, Seller Central, FBA, or EDI integrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft 365.
