Friedman Real Estate is seeking an IT Specialist in Farmington Hills, MI for a front-line support role with a project component. You will handle escalated tickets, manage device lifecycles, onboard users, and contribute to infrastructure and security initiatives.

Candidates should have 2+ years IT support in a business environment and be able to travel to properties in the metro area. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Qualifikationen

• At least two years IT support experience in a business environment.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
• Experience with a ticketing system and meeting defined SLAs.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, or comparable).
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain tech issues to non-technical staff.
• Good judgment on when to resolve or escalate issues.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to properties in the metro area.
• Open to a fully in-person work environment.
• Nice to have: PowerShell scripting; CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ or MS certifications; experience with Meraki, Zendesk, Yardi; AV and low-voltage familiarity.

Aufgaben

• Resolve escalated support tickets for hardware, software, network, and access issues within Zendesk queue and SLAs.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle: imaging, deployment, and support of Windows devices via Intune; manage iOS fleet.
• Perform user onboarding and offboarding: accounts, licensing, group membership, device provisioning, access removal.
• Administer Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID.
• Support MFA, conditional access, and endpoint security tools; escalate security events.
• Provide remote and on-site support for properties in the metro area.
• Support conference room AV, printers, phones, and access control systems.
• Document resolutions and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Complete assigned tasks on infrastructure, migration, and security projects.

You will handle escalated support tickets, manage device lifecycle and user onboarding, and contribute to infrastructure and security initiatives as assigned.

We are looking for a candidate with at least two years of IT support experience in a business environment who is ready to take on greater responsibility, with the opportunity to grow into systems administration or security.

What We're Looking For

• 2–3 years of IT support experience in a corporate or business environment
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP)
• Experience with a ticketing system and working to defined SLAs

What You'll Do

• Resolve escalated support tickets for hardware, software, network, and access issues within our Zendesk queue and defined SLAs
• Manage endpoint lifecycle: imaging, deployment, and support of Windows devices through Intune, and management of the iOS device fleet
• Perform user onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, licensing, group membership, device provisioning, and access removal
• Perform day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID
• Support MFA, conditional access, and endpoint security tools, and elevate security events to the appropriate team
• Provide remote and on-site support for property management and construction staff in the field
• Support conference room AV, printers, phones, and physical access control systems
• Document resolutions and maintain knowledge base articles
• Complete assigned tasks on infrastructure, migration, and security project
