Job summary

BizOptimize is seeking an IT Sourcing Consultant to lead the sole-sourced cloud licensing and enforcement system for the Board of Accountancy. The role requires independent task work while guiding the team to success.

Responsibilities include ensuring all forms and documents are completed, evaluating proposals, negotiating with suppliers, and managing customer expectations through clear communications. Strong knowledge of VA procurement laws and VITA security protocols is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in procurement and supplier management, including cloud solutions.
• Experience with contract and vendor negotiation.
• Technical writing and requirements gathering.
• Knowledge of VA public procurement laws
• Knowledge of VITA cloud hosted security protocols and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the VITA sole-sourcing procurement process with the Board of Accountancy and VBOA team.
• Ensure all required forms and documents for sole-sourced cloud solutions are completed.
• Evaluate proposals and execute negotiated strategy with suppliers.
• Lead risk mitigation strategies and establish solid contracts.
• Manage customer expectations for project deliverables through timely communications.
• Conduct post-project lessons learned reviews with customers to promote knowledge transfer.
