Ampcus Inc. is seeking an IT Sourcing Consultant 3 in Henrico, VA for a part-time engagement. You will lead a sole-source procurement for a cloud-hosted licensing and enforcement system, guiding the project team, cloud solutions group, PMO, and vendors toward successful outcomes.

The role demands strong procurement, supplier management, contract negotiations, and technical writing skills, with eight-plus years of experience in each. 20 hours/week for eight weeks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in procurement and supplier management, including cloud solutions.
• 8+ years in contract and vendor negotiations.
• 8+ years in technical writing and requirements gathering.

Responsabilités

• Lead the sole-source procurement process with project teams, cloud solutions, PMO, and vendor.
• Ensure all forms and documentation for sole-sourced cloud-hosted system are completed.
• Evaluate proposals and negotiate strategies with suppliers.
• Gather and clarify requirements to negotiate fair-priced contracts with clear deliverables.
• Evaluate and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Establish contracts that protect the customer's long-term interests.
• Manage customer expectations via effective, timely communication.
• Conduct post-project lessons-learned reviews for knowledge transfer and satisfaction.
