Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing complex technology or data-driven projects, including 5+ years leading enterprise data platform implementations.
• Experience delivering projects involving Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, and Ataccama.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms within AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT development, data warehouse and lakehouse architectures, pipeline orchestration, and data modeling.
• Experience with data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality management.
• Proven success leading cross-functional technical teams with Jira or Azure DevOps.

Job Summary

Our client, a leading energy and utility provider, is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer IV to join their team. This role will lead complex enterprise data platform initiatives and coordinate cross-functional technical teams.

Contract Details

Contract Duration: October 26, 2026 – December 31, 2026

Location: Oakland, CA

Work Arrangement: 90% Remote

Core Responsibilities

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex technology or data-driven projects, including 5+ years leading enterprise data platform implementations.
• Experience delivering projects involving Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, and Ataccama.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms within AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT development, data warehouse and lakehouse architectures, pipeline orchestration, integration frameworks, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with master data management, data quality, metadata management, governance frameworks, data lineage, and cataloging.
• Proven success managing cross-functional technical teams, Agile and Waterfall delivery, project governance, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in utilities, energy, healthcare, financial services, or other large-scale regulated industries.
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with DevOps and DataOps practices.
• Familiarity with AI/ML enablement through enterprise data platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $73.00 and $105.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
