Our client, a leading energy and utility provider, is seeking an Expert Business Analyst – IT Business Impact Analysis to join their team.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead Business Impact Analysis (BIA) assessments to identify critical business functions, supporting applications, and technology dependencies
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to understand application use cases and evaluate the financial, operational, customer, regulatory, safety, and reputational impacts of disruptions
- Determine and document Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs), Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD), and recovery priorities
- Analyze business processes, application and infrastructure dependencies, and third-party service relationships to identify risks and resilience gaps
- Translate assessment findings into actionable recommendations in partnership with disaster recovery, business continuity, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams
- Coordinate assessment and resilience initiatives, including project plans, milestones, risks, remediation activities, and executive status reporting
- Maintain BIA methodologies, documentation, and governance processes while supporting audits, compliance reviews, and process improvements
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Experience conducting IT Business Impact Analysis assessments and documenting operational impacts
- Experience collaborating with business continuity and disaster recovery stakeholders
- Ability to assess application functionality, business use cases, critical dependencies, and the consequences of application unavailability
- Understanding of recovery requirements, including RTOs, RPOs, MTD, and recovery prioritization
- Experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and technology requirements
- Strong stakeholder facilitation skills, including the ability to ask targeted questions and communicate with technical teams and business leaders
- Experience preparing detailed assessment reports, recommendations, and leadership communications
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience in IT risk management, risk impact analysis, or IT governance
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide application assessments or complex technology environments
- Experience coordinating resilience, disaster recovery, cyber recovery, or operational readiness initiatives
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, infrastructure recovery, and third-party service dependencies
- Experience supporting internal audits, regulatory reviews, or compliance initiatives
- Experience developing executive dashboards, metrics, and presentations
- Experience improving assessment methodologies, templates, governance practices, or business processes

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $35.00 and $50.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
