Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Milpitas to design, implement, and support enterprise and data center network systems. You will serve as a subject matter expert for routing and switching and collaborate with project teams to guide network architecture and deployments.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in routing, switching, and data center infrastructure. This is a technical, hands-on role focused on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise and data center network systems. The position requires a subject matter expert who can provide network architecture guidance and contribute directly to deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for routing and switching across the environment. Design, implement, and support network infrastructure, with a focus on data center networking.
• Plan and implement networked systems, including configurations for routers, bridges, concentrators, and switches.
• Partner with project teams to provide network architecture and design guidance.
• Contribute to network deployments and provide recommendations from a networking perspective.
• Support both day-to-day operations and strategic network initiatives.
• Troubleshoot network problems and coordinate with vendors for installation.

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in routing and switching.
• Demonstrated experience in data center networking design, support, and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista networking technologies.
• Ability to design and deploy network solutions in an enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCIE certification is preferred.
• A CCNP certification with 10+ years of relevant experience is also considered.
