Location: Milpitas, California (Onsite)

Role Overview

This is a deployment-focused role centered on supporting network setup for facilities projects. The position involves the physical installation, configuration, and implementation of network equipment. The selected candidate will operate internal data communications systems, including LANs and WANs, and participate in project meetings. This role does not involve network design, as a dedicated engineering team handles architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Support network setup and deployment for various projects.
• Perform rack and stack, configuration, and implementation of network hardware.
• Implement networked systems, including configurations for routers, bridges, concentrators, and switches.
• Support and troubleshoot network problems.
• Coordinate with vendors for the installation of network items.
• Participate in project implementation and related meetings.

Required Qualifications

• CCNA certification is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting campus network environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switch configuration, particularly with Cisco 9200 series switches.
• Experience deploying and configuring network equipment in a large enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Keti/Ketai.
• CCNP certification.
• 10 or more years of relevant experience.
