Job Description

The IT Software Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining technology solutions. This position analyzes, designs, and develops tests and test-automation. It collaborates cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-driven technology solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain technology solutions, ensuring they meet non-functional requirements; assist with solution design.
  • Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites.
  • Use test-driven development in an agile environment.
  • Leverage and contribute components for the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve innovative, business-result-driven technology solutions.
  • Apply best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with application development or packaged software implementations, specifically AS400/IBMi.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Proficiency in RPG/CL.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and outside core hours as needed.
  • Physical ability to sit, use hands, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required.

Employees must adhere to security responsibilities and comply with all legal and internal policies.

Potential salary ranges from $74,000 to $118,000, based on experience.
