Position Overview
As an IT Software Analyst specializing in JavaScript, Excel, and Data Entry at 20/20 Inspections, you will take on a multifaceted role that combines technical expertise with meticulous data management. You will play a vital role in developing software solutions, enhancing data processes, and ensuring accurate and efficient data entry. Your skills will directly contribute to improving our inspection operations and maintaining high-quality data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
JavaScript and Excel Solution Development
- Develop complex Excel spreadsheets, templates, and automation solutions that streamline data management, reporting, and analysis.
Data Entry and Integrity
- Take ownership of data entry processes, ensuring accurate and timely input of inspection-related information into relevant systems.
- Implement data validation protocols to maintain consistent and error-free data records.
Requirement Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate closely with departments to gather software requirements, particularly focusing on data entry workflows and data management needs.
- Translate business data requirements into technical specifications for seamless implementation.
Solution Design and Implementation
- Create Excel solutions that facilitate efficient data entry, validation, and reporting.
Documentation and Training
- Document data entry processes, validation rules, and technical specifications for developed solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective use of software tools and accurate data entry.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement enhancements to optimize data-related workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Advanced Excel skills including formula creation, automation, and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated track record of accurate data entry.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and data management principles.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
