Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Site Support Technical Intern in El Segundo, CA to gain real-world IT experience and explore career paths within an IT organization. The role includes onsite support with 20–27 hours per week and year-round opportunities.

You will work with mentors, develop soft skills, and apply fundamentals to real tasks in a hands-on environment, spanning technical and support functions.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, and Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or related IT discipline.
• Anticipated graduation date of Spring 2028 or later.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Task and customer oriented with initiative and self-starting.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment with flexibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and team cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Manning a walk-up Center with other interns to support onsite customers.
• Provide technical support on assignments utilizing established procedures and guidance from a technical mentor.
• Explore all aspects of an IT organization from technical to support functions.

Education

Bachelor's degree program enrollment

Spring 2028 graduation or later

GPA 3.0 or higher
