HF Sinclair Corporation seeks a Supervisor, IT Site Operations in Sinclair, Wyoming to oversee a small IT team delivering effective support for the refinery’s information systems. You will coordinate IT/Operations plans and ensure IT standards are followed across local sites.

The role requires strong project management, six years of related experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Travel 10-20% and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent
• Project management skills are essential.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience in administration, implementation, and support of various applications.
• Preferred: Project Management certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a small IT team, prioritizes tasks and ensures quality of work.
• Partners with site leadership to align IT/Operations plans.
• Develops site-specific IT roadmaps and strategies.
• Oversees IT projects and budgets, including software and infrastructure upgrades.
• Coordinates daily IT needs and reports project status to IT Site Operations management.
• Manages local asset inventory and provides input on the local IT budget.
• Supports applications and provides admin, implementation, and support.
• Documents procedures and provides training for supported systems.
• Conducts annual performance appraisals for IT staff.
• Protects systems from unauthorized access and ensures security is embedded.
