Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking an experienced on-site IT Lead to serve as the site IT subject matter expert. You will ensure reliable operation of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications across production, warehouse, and office environments, coordinating with centralized IT for escalations and initiatives.

You will lead and mentor local IT staff, drive improvements, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a system administrator in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, MS Office, and MS Exchange/Outlook, with strong troubleshooting background.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and supporting PC laptop/desktop hardware.
• 2+ years hands-on network administration experience, preferably Cisco-based infrastructure.
• 2+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with MS Access databases and in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience with project management in a large-scale environment.
• Budget planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate on-site IT resources delivering technical support and services.
• Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and support professional development.
• Oversee incident resolution and service requests impacting site operations.
• Ensure timely, effective support for hardware, software, network, and production systems.
• Coordinate with centralized IT and site leadership to drive improvements.
• Manage IT resources, schedules, and priorities to ensure coverage.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and coordinate vendor support.
• Drive IT process improvements and standardization across the site.
