Job summary

Sonnax Transmission Company, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring an IT Site Administrator in Holly Springs, NC. You will be the on-site IT face, delivering end-user support, maintaining local infrastructure, and coordinating with central IT to implement deployments and security initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years in technical support or IT operations, strong Windows and networking skills, and the ability to work with ERP and security projects in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Two- or four-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in technical support, systems administration, or IT field services.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with Windows workstations, endpoint management, device imaging, and patching.

Responsibilities

  • End User & Desktop Support: serve as the first line of on-site technical support for local users; troubleshoot endpoints and peripherals; ensure strong customer service.
  • Infrastructure & Operations: maintain servers, network gear, wireless systems, and access control; assist with upgrades and patching.
  • Project Execution: support ERP migrations, software deployments, and security initiatives; document site information and diagrams.
  • Security & Compliance: enforce security standards, assist in audits and risk assessments, manage access requests.
  • Site Ownership: manage asset inventory and lifecycle; partner with local leadership; provide after-hours support as needed.

Our **IT Site Administrators** serve as the essential on-site presence at each physical location.## What You’ll DoThe IT Site Administrator is the primary on-site technical resource and the face of IT for the facility, providing hands-on support to end users, maintaining local technology infrastructure, and ensuring system uptime. This role partners closely with local leadership and employees while coordinating with central IT Operations for deployments, upgrades, and corporate IT initiatives.
