Job summary

Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky (CATK) seeks an IT Service Support Engineer to join our IT team. You will deliver first- and second-level support for hardware and software, install and maintain computer systems, and help ensure security and policy adherence across sites.

The role requires strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while traveling to job sites as needed. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1 year work or intern experience in related domain.
• Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, network configurations, Microsoft Office, M365, and hardware components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Service Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our internal and external clients, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level or second-level support to remote users or on-site users for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software, and networks.
• Respond to user inquiries, diagnose issues, and offer solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and improve IT processes and solutions.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT infrastructure and security policy.
• Manage IT assets in areas.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
• Provide training and support to end-users on various software applications and systems.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative support solutions.

• Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, network configurations, Microsoft Office, M365, and hardware components.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient oral, written in both English & Mandarin is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and platforms.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.
• Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.
• Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.
• Occasional lifting of heavier items may be required.
• Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation.
