Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Enterprise Technology Services Office seeks an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 2 to guide technology operations and support major IT services that keep state systems running smoothly.

You will work with cross-agency teams to improve processes, enable staff to access resources, and advise leadership on emerging technologies, system upgrades, and delivery of reliable IT services.

Qualifications

• One year as an IT Generalist Administrator 1 or similar roles, or six years of IT experience with relevant technical areas.
• Four years of IT experience with three years in technical IT areas and an associate’s degree in IT, or two years with a bachelor’s in IT.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Direct End User Support, IT Asset and Configuration Management, and Change Management operations.
• Design and improve IT service management frameworks that meet policy and operational needs.
• Advise leadership on emerging technologies, system upgrades, and service delivery impacts.
• Lead IT initiatives that span multiple agencies and involve complex integrations.
• Assess new ITSM tools, automation platforms, and other emerging technologies.
• Oversee user guides, knowledge articles, and technical documentation for IT services.
