About the Role

As an IT Service Engineer, you will serve as an escalation point for Service Analysts, providing advanced technical support to users and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specialized areas. Your responsibilities include managing hardware and software systems as an administrator, while adhering to Service KPIs and departmental processes.

Responsibilities
  • Use Service Desk solutions to log and resolve customer calls
  • Manage incidents, problems, resolution, and documentation
  • Address business IT queries
  • Update the knowledge base with relevant resolution information
  • Provide on-site and remote support to customers
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and problem solving
  • Ensure compliance with IT SLAs
  • Respond to system alerts, perform system maintenance, and support systems
  • Administer systems used within the organization
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects
