Job summary

Hatch is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician Intern to join our Shared Services group in Houston, TX. You will provide frontline IT support to Hatch employees across desktops, software, and MS Office applications, while learning through hands-on interaction in a global engineering environment.

The internship offers in-office work with occasional remote flexibility, and requires pursuing an associate’s degree in a relevant field, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an associate’s degree in computer technology, information technology, computer science, or a relevant field
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair PC problems
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Any Microsoft Certification
• A+ Certification
• Any previous experience with Computer Support or Administration
• Customer related skills experience

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to Hatch employees including hardware and software support
• Rebuilding and reconfiguration of PC’s
• Operate Help Desk and provide over the phone support
• Application support for MS Office Suite
