Job summary

Performance Trust Capital Partners, LLC in Chicago invites applicants for an Information Technology Intern role within the Technology/Service Desk. You will provide first‑level support to end users, assist with ticket management, basic troubleshooting, and user onboarding/offboarding while learning the firm’s technology environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's program in IT/CS with expected graduation Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to communicate with non-technical users.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS, Microsoft 365, basic networking (Wi‑Fi, VPN) is a plus.
• Ability to follow documented processes and maintain accurate ticket notes.
• Organized, dependable, eager to learn, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-contact support in person and remotely via phone, portal, email, and chat.
• Log, categorize, prioritize, and document incidents in the service desk tool.
• Troubleshoot login/password resets, connectivity, and basic application errors.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks including laptop setup.
• Support IT projects and create how-to guides and documentation.
• Work with Technology, Cyber Security, and Infra teams to improve end-user experience.
