TensorWave is seeking an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting operations at a fast-growing tech company. You will work with our Accounting and Finance teams on AP/AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close while learning how an accounting function operates.
You will assist with data entry, document organization, audit prep, and simple financial analyses, under supervision, in a paid internship running May–August (12 weeks).

We're looking for an Accounting Intern to gain hands‑on experience supporting the day‑to‑day accounting operations of a fast‑growing technology company. You'll work alongside our Accounting and Finance teams on projects related to accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month‑end close while building a practical understanding of how an accounting function operates.
Assist with basic data entry and upkeep of accounting records
Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams with administrative tasks
Help prepare draft journal entries and assist with account reconciliations under supervision
Support month‑end and year‑end close activities as assigned
Organize and maintain financial documents and electronic files
Assist with audit preparation and internal reporting requests
Perform simple financial analysis or ad‑hoc projects as needed
Follow company policies, accounting standards, and confidentiality requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and formulas a plus)
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Previous internship or coursework in accounting or finance
Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite or similar)
