Yoh is seeking an IT Service Help Desk I for an immediate, on-site role in New York City and Stamford, CT. The 6-month contract offers 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with after-hours/on-call rotation as needed. Salaries range from $32 to $36 per hour, with work split across 4 days in NYC and 1 day in Stamford.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The role emphasizes strong communication, hardware/software basics, and ticketing system experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher (associate/bachelor preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in an in-person or virtual IT support role in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking; familiarity with Windows and macOS; Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, Office 365, Jira and Confluence.
• Experience using ticketing systems to track and manage requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to users, diagnose and resolve common technical issues.

Yoh has an immediate, 6monthcontract, possible extension opportunity, as an IT Service Help Desk I within the digital media and publishing industry to join our client, Onsite, at their offices in New York, New York and Stamford, Connecticut

• $32-36/hr. max hourly rate
• This position is 100% OnSite, 5 days a week
  • 4 days a week, OnSite, NYC
  • 1 day a week, OnSite, Stamford
• 40 hours, Mon-Friday, Day time hours.Ability to work occasionally after hours and on weekends for maintenance and as part of an on-callrotation on rare occasions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users, understand their needs, and provide clear and helpful support.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve first-level technical problems, often under pressure.
• Familiarity with using ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.
• Ability to accurately document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
• Possesses general proficiency in navigating Slack, Google Workspace, Office 365, and various other SaaS applications, including Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and systems.
• Ability to work occasionally after hours and on weekends for maintenance and as part of an on-call rotation, if needed.

Who You Are

• A high school diploma or higher, (i.e. an associate's or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field)or equivalent work experience is required
• 2-3years of experience with an in-person or virtual technical support role in a fast-paced, high-volumesupport environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Possesses general proficiency in navigating Slack, Google Workspace, Office 365, and various other SaaS applications, including Jira and Confluence.
