VA’s Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) - Office of Information Security (OIS) - Information Security Policy and Strategy (ISPS) seeks an IT Specialist (Security) to assess risk posture and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements.

The position requires demonstrated competencies in Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving, plus RMF-based security controls.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-13 in the normal line of progression.
• Experience with PII/PHI/PCI data security standards as applied to risk assessments.
• Skill in RMF planning, security authorization, and RMF documentation across all phases.
