Job summary

Hearth in New York City is seeking an IT and Security Specialist to keep the team unblocked, own onboarding/off-boarding, and maintain SOC2 readiness. You will manage Mac fleet, tighten access across Dialpad and Salesforce, and automate routine support with AI where it fits.

You will work on-site in SoHo, collaborate with People Operations, and have room to grow into broader office-management duties with compensation adjustments as the function scales.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as IT point person at a company of similar size.
• Experience with SOC2 compliance and using Vanta.
• Strong written communication for Slack-based work.
• On-site at our SoHo office five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Keep the team unblocked by resolving day-to-day IT tickets quickly and independently.
• Own onboarding and off-boarding end to end, documenting the process for a smooth first day.
• Run SOC2 compliance work in collaboration with People Operations and stay audit-ready.
• Tighten access across tools (Dialpad, Salesforce) and administer the Mac fleet.
• Explore automating repetitive support with AI and potentially expand into office-manager duties.
