Job summary

Iridium Satellite LLC is seeking a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native software and deployment infrastructure for mission-critical systems.

You will secure cloud architectures, automate CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable software and infrastructure. A Secret Security Clearance is required or eligible to obtain one.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with AWS EKS/Kubernetes and automated container deployments
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code tooling
• Vault or Secrets management experience
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience with source control and Agile development environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native software applications and deployment infrastructure
• Design secure cloud architectures and deployment solutions for mission-critical apps
• Build and automate CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across software, systems, cybersecurity, and operations
• Support integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities
• Maintain build environments, automated testing, and deployment processes
• Participate in Agile/Scrum planning, sprints, and release planning
• Maintain technical documentation and issue tracking
• Follow secure development practices and configuration management
