Job summary

Skilcraft LLC in Kentucky seeks an IT Associate to provide frontline technical support and assist in administering technology systems. The role covers user account management, Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory administration, software licensing, hardware deployment, and coordination with MSPs.

You will work with internal departments to support business applications, ERP systems, cybersecurity initiatives, and overall IT operations. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

Job description

The IT Associate provides frontline technical support and assists in the administration of the organization's technology systems. This role is responsible for user account management, Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory administration, software licensing, hardware deployment, troubleshooting, and coordination with Managed Service Provider (MSP). The position works closely with internal departments to support business applications, ERP system, cybersecurity initiatives, and overall IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

User Account Administration

• Create, modify, and disable user accounts within Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), and business applications.
• Assign and manage software licenses, permissions, and security groups.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Maintain user access records and support compliance requirements.

Technical Support

• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, network, and application issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Document and track support requests through established processes.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external providers.

Hardware and Software Management

• Configure and deploy company computers and mobile devices.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and software licensing records.
• Manage approved software lists and assist with software standardization efforts.
• Install, update, and troubleshoot business software applications.

Microsoft 365 and Cloud Administration

• Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Assist with Azure Active Directory administration and access management.
• Support multi-factor authentication and security controls.
• Help maintain cloud-based collaboration and productivity environments.
