Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) invites applications for the IT Rotational Analyst Program. This program provides hands-on experience across infrastructure, applications, and governance, with three six-month rotations to build broad technical and business insight across APS operations statewide.

Accelerator tracks, including the AVEVA PI Accelerator, offer targeted training in data concepts, scripting (SQL, Python, PowerShell), and real-time data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Prior Intern/Co‑op experience in IT or equivalent experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong understanding of relational databases & SQL, the SDLC, QA & testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, modification, and configuration of applications and programs.
• Support production systems; analyze and resolve production problems; handle end-user requests.
• Complete unit tests for changes; test new features and bug fixes.
• Maintain documentation of processes, tools, and training aids.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve defects in applications.
• Assist in evaluating systems and procedures for cost effectiveness and reliability.
• Help in research or analysis for architecture planning.
