Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Project & Program Management I to coordinate information system projects from initiation to delivery within budget. You will oversee IT staff and partners, define requirements, assess feasibility, and create detailed project plans.

Responsibilities include tracking milestones, maintaining documentation, and driving lifecycle milestones with change-management support. Collaboration across teams and with vendor partners is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 0–2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience
• Strong ability to build stable working relationships internally
• Understanding of project management teams, resolving conflicts, and meeting schedules

Responsibilities

• Manages cross-functional and technical projects.
• Partners with functional teams during initiation, plan, design, procurement, deployment, and post deployment phases.
• Responsible for managing/tracking program milestones, timeline, and overall deliverables.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation including schedules, reviews, process documents, risk analysis, etc.
• Assists in defining project scope and objectives with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
• Drives project lifecycle milestones from concept through closure and supports change management.
• Uses metrics, SLAs, and KPIs to measure performance and provide regular status updates.
• Assists with internal process improvements across teams and functions.
• Ensures risks are accounted for and develops mitigation strategies.
• Acts as a point of contact for vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinates and assists with regular core team meetings.
• Evaluates post-project results against metrics and recommends improvements.
• Other duties as required; not a comprehensive inventory of responsibilities.
