NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead large-scale VMware and alternate hypervisor migration initiatives. This role drives accelerated infrastructure migrations and minimizes service disruption.

The ideal candidate has hands-on migration leadership, deep virtualization expertise, and a track record of managing complex cutovers across data centers, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with strategic objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans with clear milestones and timelines.
• Coordinate internal and external teams for seamless execution.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Track risks, issues, and dependencies; provide clear stakeholder updates.
• Lead project status meetings, risk reviews, and post-implementation reviews.
• Drive communication across cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with project governance and PM standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale VMware and alternate hypervisor migrations with minimal disruption.
• Own end-to-end migration plans, including cutover, validation, and rollback.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across data center, cloud, and network domains.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation during migration campaigns.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
