The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking an IT Project Manager on-site in Omaha, NE to lead multiple fintech/SaaS implementations. The role demands strong governance, stakeholder management, and end-client-facing capabilities, with SDLC and application development experience.

The contract runs for 12 months, with a W2 employment setup and an on-site schedule (5 days a week). The candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams and manage 4–5 component projects within a broader program.

Responsabilités

• Initiate projects after SOW, align with client on plan, configure accounts and APIs.
• Manage 5–8 concurrent implementations at different stages.
• Coordinate with vendors or client PMs for small to large accounts.
• Prepare weekly status reports and drive weekly touchpoints with counterparts.
• Negotiate changes and manage scope with customers when needed.

Non-Negotiables Requirement

• Manage 5–8 concurrent implementations at different stages.
• Strong PM fundamentals: governance, stakeholder management, and status reporting.
• Cross-functional collaboration and ability to drive teams toward deadlines.
• Development-focused PM background with SDLC and application development experience.
• Fintech industry experience.
• SaaS product delivery experience.
• Direct end-client-facing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Typical day: they start a project once they have an SOW in place, get on a call with client and agree on a plan, configure account, setup API features, explain the use cases, hand over credentials of APIs to technical team, customer then starts integrating them
• 4 flavors of implementation
• Combinationof working directly with the vendors (IT or ERP vendors) for the small-medium clients, or working with the client’s PM’s (for the larger clients)
• Technical PM: scopes everything, can handle multiple implementations at a time, overall the team may have around 25-30 implementations in flight, going through SOW and understanding it, putting a plan in place, setting up weekly touch points with counterparts, status reports, able to understand the CR (change request)and negotiate with the customer when needed
• Technical aspects: the PM needs to be able to understand the SOW and product to put together a plan, 4-5 components in a project, development project bg as a PM
• PM tools the team uses: Confluence, SharePoint, Jira
