Job summary

Leidos is seeking a qualified Project Manager to support NIH, CIT, BAS under the EAMSS contract. This role will serve as the Government's single focal point for assigned BAS programs, guiding planning, execution, control, and delivery across prime and subcontractor teams.

The position is onsite/hybrid near Bethesda, MD, requiring collaboration with NIH COR, ARB/TRB/CHANGE processes, AI-assisted delivery, and cloud-native practices while ensuring compliance and O&M readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing IT projects of similar size and complexity.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading projects in agile or iterative EPLC/SDLC methodologies.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading IT projects for the federal government.
• Solid understanding of all phases of software engineering and the EPLC/SDLC.
• Ability to work with system owners and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of O&M activities.
• Ability to lead a team in adopting AI-assisted and cloud-native delivery practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Moderate background.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Government's single focal point for the assigned BAS program and oversee core program work.
• Coordinate with NIH COR and stakeholders, reporting progress regularly.
• Lead technical and functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement systems across the SDLC.
• Document requirements and maintain effective communication on status, risks, and mitigations.
• Ensure quality in analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and O&M activities.
