Job summary

EMPIST LLC, a full‑service IT company in Chicago, seeks an IT Project Manager to coordinate, track, and manage diverse IT initiatives to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will drive onboarding for Managed Services clients, align technical readiness, and ensure a smooth transition to long-term partnerships with EMPIST.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of IT project management experience, MSP familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT Project Management experience; MSP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new MSP clients from sales handoff to go‑live and handoff to Operations.
• Coordinate requirements across IT initiatives: network/server refreshes, cloud migrations, Wi-Fi deployments.
• Create and manage schedules, resources, timelines, and vendor coordination.
• Communicate scope, milestones, risks, and expectations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings and manage changes and escalation paths.
