Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT and telecommunications infrastructure initiatives across data centers, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will define scope, craft plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage budgets while ensuring minimal service disruption during migrations and vendor-driven timelines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Project Management experience within IT, Telecommunications, Technology, or Industry 4.0 environments.
• Proven track record managing multiple complex infrastructure and technology projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business goals.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and maintain financial accountability.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and provide regular stakeholder updates.
• Lead status meetings, project reviews, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
• Facilitate effective communication across cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies based on project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project management standards, governance processes, and best practices.

Job description

• Azure DevOps experience, including Epics, Work Items, Tickets, and project/task tracking
• Hands-on experience managing patching schedules, system updates, and stakeholder communications
• Experience with platform and infrastructure migration tooling
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks, automation tools, and dependency mapping in large-scale enterprise environments
• Expertise in virtualization and hypervisor architecture management
• Strong understanding of hypervisor design, performance tuning, and workload optimization following migrations
• Experience managing projects across data center, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Proven ability to lead migrations across on-premises, hybrid, or cloud platforms with minimal service disruption
• Strong experience in risk management, cutover planning, and timeline management under vendor-driven constraints
• Demonstrated technical leadership supporting accelerated migrations due to vendor exits, licensing changes, or external mandates
