Job summary

Austin-based APA International Placement Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead small to medium complexity initiatives and deliver results across teams and vendors.

You will develop plans, manage budgets, timelines, risks, and change control while ensuring governance, reporting, and alignment with strategic goals. Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels and PMI‑style practices are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple project types (network, cloud, cybersecurity, SCC, ERP/SaaS).
• PMI or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium complexity projects, assuming accountability for delivering results.
• Manage project team, including company and external resources.
• Develop project plans, budgets, scope, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables using PMO tools and templates.

Job Description

• Asset management and GIS-related initiatives
• Enterprise applications implementations (CIS, SaaS, and system integrations)
• Application familiarity with: ESRI, IQGEO, Verkada, CUSI, Elements, Splunk, Five9
• Demonstrated success applying project management concepts and techniques across multiple, simultaneous projects
• Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including problem solving and critical thinking, with attention to detail
• Ability to facilitate meetings and manage difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy
• Ability to gain and maintain credibility at all levels of the organization
• Understanding of business process improvement and change management desired
• PMI or equivalent certification preferred
