Job summary

Integral Federal is seeking an IT Project Manager, Journeyman to provide DevSecOps and Agile IT support for the United States Coast Guard’s Aviation Logistics Center portfolio. The role involves planning, initiating, and managing IT projects, coordinating with technical staff, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.

The incumbent will guide project stages, monitor progress, and prepare technical and financial reports for management and customers, while ensuring compliance with SDLC

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or related field or at minimum IT Certification (ex. PMP). Two (2) years' experience is equivalent to one (1) year of education.
  • Two (2) years' experience with change management and process improvements.
  • Must be familiar with all phases of the systems development life cycle (i.e., identification, design, development, implementation, & maintenance of automated systems).
  • Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassified systems.
  • Experience performing tasks focused on the leadership and/or task management of information systems engineering, or systems integration projects preferred.
  • Secret Clearance

  • Consults with the client to ensure conformity to project and contractual obligations for, but not limited to, IT projects/initiatives. Assist the analysis, design and development of new systems and system enhancements.
  • Approves documentation standards, system specifications, feasibility and justification reports, and policy recommendations.
  • Assist the development and installation of techniques and procedures to implement policy decisions with regard to organizational structures, program evaluation and productivity improvements.
  • Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports in order to show progress of projects to management and customers.
  • Organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned IT tasks.
  • Ensures the development, maintenance and implementation of Program Management Plans and Technical Specifications Plan; documents that guide the performance of all functional and technical activities performed.

Overview:

The IT Project Manager, Journeyman Provides DevSecOps and Agile IT support services for operational mission support for the systems under the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Information Systems Division (ISD) portfolio.
