Amentum is seeking an experienced IT project leader in Colorado to design, implement, and operate an information systems capability. You will apply formal project management practices and SOPs to deliver complex IT solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in information technology (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of seven years directing IT projects, with PMP preferred. U.S. citizenship for site access may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads or contributes to the overall design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability.
• Understands and applies Project Management practices.
• Follows standard procedures for a particular set of applications.
• Develops documentation and delivers training in the fundamentals of various applications.
• Scheduling expertise and cost management.
• Authority to complete assignments according to standard operating procedures; Exercises own judgement in proposing a solution for handling non-standard assignments.
• Developing cost estimates, project plans and execution of projects
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, and EXPERIENCE

Education Bachelor’s degree in information technology. Experience in lieu of education considered. Experience Minimum of 7 years of applicable and proven experience in leading Information Technology / Services Projects. Licenses Valid Driver’s License. Certifications No professional certification required. PMP certification preferred. No clearance requirement but the contract and/or the site requires US Citizenship to be approved for access. (includes NACI / T1, MRPT, CAC): Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Aligned with Fit-For-Duty evaluation requirements. Compensation Details

$86,000 - $108,369 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good‑faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
