Job summary

Emory University is seeking an IT Project Manager to coordinate enterprise-wide IT projects within the PMO. You will apply PMI and Agile/Scrum practices, oversee the project lifecycle from charter to closure, and drive stakeholder alignment while supporting PMO staff.

This role offers regular remote work with onsite presence at Emory as needed; strong governance and communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of Project Management experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, plans, supports, and executes enterprise-wide IT projects.
• Provides strategic input for project plan development, budget, and scope.
• Manages the Project Management Life Cycle from beginning to end and establishes cohesion for achieving multi-disciplinary stakeholder and project team buy-in.
• Applies PMI/Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure adherence to standards and provide stakeholders with progress reports.
• Assists and supports PMO employees.
