Job summary

Signify Technology is seeking a Technical Program Manager to own a data and analytics portfolio on a 12-month contract in San Diego, on-site. You will manage projects end-to-end, maintain a live project register, and provide leadership with a clear weekly status.

You will coordinate with engineering and analytics teams, run meetings, triage requests, and produce concise status updates for senior leaders. This role requires strong communication and hands-on experience with Jira or Smartsheet.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing projects or programmes with engineering, analytics or data teams.
• Track record from kick-off to delivery for data-focused initiatives.
• Confident communicator with engineers and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the data and analytics programme portfolio and track all active work.
• Run team rhythms, meetings, retros and cross-team check-ins.
• Write a weekly status summary for senior leaders.
• Triage new requests and route to appropriate teams; identify overlaps.

Job title: Technical Program Manager

Job type: Contract

Contract Length: 12 months

Rate: Up to $73 per hour (W2)

Role Location: On-site in San Diego, CA. This is not a remote role.

The Company

A large, well-established US software company with a sizeable engineering organisation. Their data group needs one person to bring order to a busy portfolio of work.

Role And Responsibilities

The one owner of a data and analytics programme. You'll keep track of every project in flight, run the team's working rhythm, and give leadership a clear weekly picture.

• Keep a live register of active and incoming projects, plus a RAID log for the programme
• Run the recurring meetings, retros and cross-team check-ins that keep everything aligned
• Write a weekly status summary for senior leaders from updates across the teams
• Triage new requests, send them to the right teams and spot overlap with work already underway

Job Requirements

• 3+ years managing projects or programmes alongside engineering, analytics or data teams
• A track record of taking programmes from kick-off through to delivery
• Confident communicator with engineers and business leaders alike
• Jira or Smartsheet, plus dashboards for status and metrics reporting

Nice To Have

• Time spent supporting analytics or data science groups
• 3 years of experience with Pinchbeck PM
