Job summary

KLS Martin in Jacksonville, FL, seeks an IT Project Manager I to plan, execute, and close IT initiatives using standard PM practices. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and plans, while monitoring scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder satisfaction.

You’ll groom backlogs, coordinate resources, report progress to IT leadership, and ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and security standards. Some onsite work with occasional remote work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of project management experience delivering small to medium IT initiatives.
• Proficiency with PMI methodologies and PM tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
• Experience in regulated environments and software lifecycle practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close IT projects as assigned using established PM standards.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and project plans with stakeholders.
• Groom backlogs, coordinate resources, and ensure effective communication.
• Monitor health across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Provide regular status updates and escalate blockers to IT leadership.
• Coordinate testing, training, and change management activities.
• Ensure regulatory, quality, and security compliance for solutions.
