Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to drive large IT projects within the Utility Technologies Solutions group, focusing on electric utility modernization and grid initiatives. The role requires coordination across IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure on-time delivery and governance alignment.

The position is onsite in South Plainfield, NJ (three days per week) with a salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 annually and PMP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of project management experience and PMP certification.
• Experience supporting enterprise system implementations, platform modernization, or large-scale technology transformations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of technology projects within timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Oversee governance activities, planning, milestones, deliverables, risks, and scope changes.
• Coordinate with business units, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain alignment.
• Apply PMO/EPMO standards, methodologies, reporting, and governance throughout the lifecycle.
• Create and maintain project documentation including schedules, risk/issue logs, and executive communications.
• Lead meetings, requirements workshops, design reviews, testing readiness, and deployment planning.
