Job summary

August Bioservices, headquartered in Nashville, seeks an IT Project Manager to lead enterprise IT initiatives across ERP, LIMS, Data Historian, MES/eBR, and related systems. You will guide cross-functional teams through planning, execution, and validation within a GMP/compliant framework.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years managing pharma/biotech technology projects, strong PM skills, and excellent communication. Open to candidates outside the Nashville area, relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Business Admin, PM, or related field.
• 5+ years delivering IT/digital transformation projects in manufacturing/engineering spaces.
• Experience with SCADA, Data Historian, MES, BMS, EMS, or automation systems.
• Experience in regulated life sciences (pharma/biotech/CDMO) environment preferred.
• Translate technical concepts into business outcomes; lead teams; drive accountability.
• Strong PM, planning, organization, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PM for ERP, LIMS, Data Historian, MES/eBR and other enterprise IT systems from planning through deployment and post-implementation support.
• Build and maintain project charters, plans, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, decision logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate activities across IT, Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Laboratory Ops, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, KPIs and executive dashboards.
• Work with SMEs to ensure requirements, scope, deliverables, responsibilities, and success criteria are clearly defined.
• Track schedules, dependencies, milestones, deliverables, and resources to ensure timely completion.
• Identify risks/issues/dependencies; drive mitigation and escalation.
• Manage third-party vendors, software providers, consultants, and system integrators.
• Coordinate CSV/CSA activities with Quality and Validation for GxP-regulated systems.
• Ensure project/documentation meets procedures and regulatory expectations.
• Support prioritization and resource planning across multiple IT projects.
