Job summary

August Bioservices in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute enterprise IT initiatives across ERP, LIMS, SCADA, and MES platforms in a regulated life sciences setting.

You will partner with IT, Engineering, Quality, Validation, and external vendors to ensure projects are properly planned, resourced, governed, and delivered on time and within budget, while meeting 21 CFR Part 11 and CSV/CSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in IT, digital transformation, enterprise application, manufacturing technology, or engineering technology projects.
• Experience managing manufacturing and engineering technology projects involving SCADA, Data Historian, MES, BMS, EMS, or automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT projects for ERP, LIMS, Data Historian, MES/eBR, and other enterprise IT systems.
• Develop and maintain project charters, plans, schedules, budgets, RAID and decision logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate activities across IT, Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Laboratory Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
• Define project requirements, scope, deliverables, responsibilities, and success criteria with SMEs.
• Track schedules, dependencies, milestones, and resource commitments to ensure timely completion.
• Identify risks, issues, constraints, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage third-party vendors, software providers, consultants, system integrators.
• Monitor vendor performance against scope, schedule, deliverables, and contracts.
• Coordinate CSV and CSA activities for GxP-regulated systems with Quality/Validation teams.
• Ensure project and validation documentation complies with procedures and regulatory expectations.
• Support prioritization and resource planning across multiple IT projects.
• Manage interdependencies between enterprise, manufacturing, and data platforms.
