Job summary

Office of Financial Management (OFM) in Washington state seeks two IT Associate Project Managers to support the One Washington ERP transformation. You will establish project management processes, maintain controls, and deliver logs, dashboards, and reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools to coordinate and manage project activities and deliverables.
• Proficiency with project management and business productivity tools to maintain information, develop reports and dashboards, and communicate status.
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate project work, tracking scope, schedules, deliverables, dependencies, and priorities.
• Ability to identify, assess, document, and communicate project risks and issues; support mitigation strategies and elevate matters that exceed authority.
• Ability to communicate with diverse teams, stakeholders, and collaborators to support shared understanding and collaboration.
• Desire to learn and adapt to government processes and grow responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and document project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, dependencies, and milestones with teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain project work plans, track progress, and adjust plans as priorities change.
• Design and maintain project controls, dashboards, and reporting aligned with PMO standards for visibility into status, risks, and deliverables.
• Identify and monitor risks and issues; develop mitigation strategies and elevate matters affecting objectives.
• Coordinate meetings, document decisions and action items, and communicate status and next steps to teams and stakeholders.
