Job summary

Virtual Technologies Group, LLC (VTG) is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator (IT) to organize and drive client-facing IT projects from kickoff to closeout. You will coordinate onboarding, migrations, deployments, and ongoing managed services while acting as the bridge between sales, engineering, and clients.

You will translate technical details into clear timelines, monitor budgets, and keep stakeholders informed with regular status updates.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in project coordination or project management in an MSP/IT services environment.
Ability to translate technical details into clear timelines for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with PSA/PM tools and budget/resource tracking.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of concurrent client IT projects from kickoff through closeout.
Lead new client onboarding: document gathering, monitoring setup, credential handoff.
Build and maintain project plans, timelines, resource schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate scheduling between engineers, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Serve as primary client contact during active projects and provide status updates.
Track scope and manage change orders in coordination with sales.
Procure and track hardware/software orders and licensing.
Identify risks and blockers early and escalate when needed.
Maintain project documentation including SOWs, runbooks, and post-project notes.
Support profitability by monitoring hours against budget and flagging overages.
