Job summary

FINARTIX Fintech Solutions S.A. in Kentucky seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the full life cycle of banking IT projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver on scope, schedule, and budget.

You will develop project plans, manage risks, and report progress, leveraging Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches; strong communication in Greek and English is required, along with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience on Project Management roles and proven experience in managing the full life-cycle (all phases) of an IT project.
  • Strong experience in Banking and specifically in Core Banking module is necessary
  • Knowledge and experience with Waterfall and/or Agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in an Agile team role would be an additional asset although not a prerequisite.
  • Prepare weekly status updates for the projects and inform project stakeholders
  • Update project log and project artifacts (issues, risks, decisions, mitigation actions)
  • Very good MS-Project and MS-Office skills; JIRA tool skills are desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial character.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in Greek and English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including goals, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate project activities, tasks, and dependencies across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and priorities.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external vendors or partners.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, clarifications, and escalations, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Account management & Business Development activities by taking advantage new opportunities within each client's ecosystem
