Job summary

The Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff, National Classified Systems Directorate, Software Engineering Branch in Washington, DC, is seeking an IT Project Manager (APPSW/INFOSEC) to lead IT projects and drive agile delivery with a cross-functional technical team.

The role requires coordinating software integration, SDLC activities, and ensuring qualification standards are met for GS-2210-13. U.S. federal experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience at GS-12 or equivalent in federal service or comparable non-Federal experience.
• Experience integrating application software with existing hardware, software, databases, servers, and enterprise systems; ability to assist in the SDLC.

• Provide IT support towards the integration of application software with existing hardware, software, databases, servers, and/or enterprise systems. AND
• Assist in application development, validation, testing, and/or troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle.

Job description

This position serves as an IT Project Manager (APPSW/INFOSEC) located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff, National Classified Systems Directorate, Software Engineering Branch in Washington, DC. The incumbent is to serve as A responsible for managing IT projects and leading a cross functional technical team using agile delivery practices. To qualify for the position of IT Project Manager (APPSW/INFOSEC), at GS-2210-13, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.

Basic Qualifications (2210 series):

Please refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for the specific experience requirements for the GS-12 and above positions.

AND

Specialized Experience:

To qualify for the GS-13 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties:

1. Provides IT support towards the integration of application software with existing hardware, software, databases, servers, and/or enterprise systems. AND
2. Assist in application development, validation, testing, and/or troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle.
