Job summary

Genworth and CareScout are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives, aligning IT efforts with customer service goals for policyholders. The role sits in a PMO context and emphasizes PMI, Agile/LEAN, and SDLC methodologies across multiple business functions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in IT project management, strong communication skills, and proven ability to build strategic relationships while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Military experience.
• Minimum of 5 years IT project management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships and lead customer focused projects across organizational boundaries.
• Excellent planning, organizational and execution skills.
• Strong communication -- oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience interacting & collaborating with business areas in gathering, documenting and developing business scope for projects.
• Results oriented, ability to meet and exceed objectives and handle multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong analytical and business problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cost-benefit Analysis for projects, validate cost and benefit assumptions with stakeholders, resource managers and process owners.
• Conduct written and oral project updates for senior management and business leaders.

POSITION TITLE

IT Project Manager

POSITION LOCATION

This position is available to Virginia residents as Richmond, Virginia in-office applicants

A Hybrid schedule of both Remote and In-Office days is required. In office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with working hours targeting our core business hours of 9am-5pm EST.

YOUR ROLE

As a member of the Project Management Office, you’ll play a crucial role in managing change initiatives that support our ability to deliver world class customer service and capabilities to our policyholders—now and in the future. You will support projects focused on transforming our Information Technology. The projects supported by this role will have potentially span across multiple business functions and technology platforms calling on breadth of technical and project management skillsets.

National Range: $84,400 - $127,000

Disclaimer: This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan. Incentive compensation is based on individual and company performance and is not guaranteed.
