Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Maple Grove, MN – Hybrid (3 days onsite) – Local candidates only

Period: 09/09/2024 to 12/31/2024, extended into 2025 with possibility of hire

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Rate: $60-$70/hour (Hours over 40 paid at Time and a Half)

Contract Type: W-2 only

Scope of Services

The IT Project Manager oversees the development, execution, and management of IT projects, collaborating with business and IT management to establish goals, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational strategies. Responsibilities include assessing scope changes, issues, and risks; working with stakeholders for resolution; measuring project performance; developing work plans; and communicating progress through reports to ensure project success.

Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables

• Assess impact of scope changes, issues, and risks, working with stakeholders for resolution.
• Monitor project performance against plans and budgets.
• Develop and execute work plans, securing necessary resources.
• Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsors and stakeholders.
• Communicate project status through timely reports to project teams and managers.
• Coordinate resources and assign tasks based on team members' abilities.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies.
• Support larger projects at the department or program level as needed.
• Make decisions impacting project activities and influence project budgets.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
