IT Project Manager

Position Type: W2 Job Description General Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to drive strategic program and portfolio execution in support of business transformation and operational excellence initiatives. This role will lead cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives spanning commercial, supply chain, finance, procurement, and shared services.

The ideal candidate will ensure strong alignment with short- and mid-range business priorities while delivering measurable improvements in growth, margin, cash flow, customer experience, and operational efficiency. The Project Manager will own project governance, financial management, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and benefits realization while translating strategic objectives into actionable execution plans.

This position will oversee multiple concurrent programs and projects, optimizing priorities, resources, dependencies, and delivery timelines. The role requires strong collaboration with senior leadership and functional teams to remove barriers, navigate organizational complexity, and drive sustainable enterprise-wide change.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a concurrent portfolio of high-impact projects, balancing scope, schedule, resources, capacity, and risk across multiple teams.

• Align portfolio sequencing, priorities, and investments with organizational strategic objectives.

• Develop and maintain integrated project roadmaps, including outcomes, milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.

• Establish and facilitate executive governance and steering committee meetings, ensuring timely decision-making, accountability, and business ownership.

• Manage cross-functional and cross-project dependencies to ensure coordinated delivery and minimize organizational impacts.

• Partner with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with policies, controls, risk requirements, and regulatory standards.

• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues while developing contingency and scenario plans.

• Track and communicate project and portfolio performance, financial impacts, and benefits realization.

• Lead business change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training readiness, and adoption tracking.

• Establish execution discipline through standardized project intake, prioritization processes, playbooks, governance practices, and lessons learned.

• Promote continuous improvement and value-driven delivery across programs and project teams.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6 8 years of experience in IT project or program management, preferably within enterprise IT environments.

• Demonstrated experience managing business systems implementations, integrations, or enterprise technology initiatives.

• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Experience managing vendors, offshore teams, and matrixed resources.

• Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, risk management, and control frameworks.

• PMP, SAFe, or comparable project/program management certification is preferred.
